Description
Oily skin has a specific problem with sunscreen: by midday the face is shining, the sunscreen has slid around, and the protection is compromised. This version of Anthelios is built to solve that.
It contains Airlicium, a mattifying agent that absorbs sebum through the day, so the finish stays dry and matte rather than turning greasy after a few hours. In Nairobi humidity and at the coast that makes a real difference to whether you keep it on.
The protection is the same Mexoryl 400 system as the rest of the range, covering ultra-long UVA to 400nm, the wavelengths that drive pigmentation and uneven tone. It is non-comedogenic and suitable for acne-prone skin, including skin being treated with benzoyl peroxide or retinoids, both of which make daily sun protection essential rather than optional.
There is no white cast, and it sits well under makeup or on its own.
Apply every morning after your moisturiser and before makeup. If you are outdoors, reapplying over a matte sunscreen is easier than over a dewy one, which is another reason oily skin does well with this format.
