Description
This is the Anthelios for people whose skin is dry, tight or sensitive, and who want their sunscreen to do the work of a moisturiser at the same time.
The texture is a proper cream rather than a fluid, comfortable and slightly dewy, and it does not leave the tight feeling that high-SPF formulas often do. It carries the same Mexoryl 400 filter as the rest of the range, giving protection across ultra-long UVA up to 400nm, which is the wavelength range most responsible for pigmentation and long-term ageing.
It suits dry skin, mature skin, and anyone using retinol or exfoliating acids whose barrier needs support. It also works well in the drier Nairobi months when even oily skin can feel tight.
If your skin is oily or you dislike a dewy finish, the Oil Control or Invisible fluids in this range will suit you better.
Apply generously as the last step of your morning routine, roughly a third of a teaspoon for the face and neck, and reapply if you are outdoors for long periods. Sunscreen only performs at its stated SPF when you use enough of it, and most people use about a quarter of what they should.
