Description
Eau Fraiche is the daytime member of the Y family. Where Y Le Parfum goes rich and dark, this one strips things back to something bright, clean and immediately likeable.
It opens on a burst of citrus and green apple, moves into a crisp aromatic heart of sage and juniper, and finishes on light woods and ambergris. There is no sweetness to speak of. The whole thing reads as freshly showered rather than perfumed.
That makes it one of the better choices for the way most people actually live in Nairobi: early starts, hot afternoons, long days that end somewhere different from where they began. It never becomes heavy in heat, and it is safe in offices and shared spaces where a stronger fragrance would be a problem.
The trade-off is longevity. This is a four to six hour fragrance, and it is honest about that. Carry it if you need it to last past the evening.
