Description
A 7 percent glycolic acid toner, used a few nights a week, is one of the most cost-effective ways to improve skin tone and texture that exists.
Glycolic acid has the smallest molecule of the AHAs, so it penetrates efficiently and works quickly. It clears the dead surface layer, brightens dullness, smooths texture and gradually fades superficial marks. Aloe, ginseng and tasmanian pepperberry are included to reduce the sting.
A large bottle at this price also makes it practical for the body, which is where a lot of people get the most from it. Keratosis pilaris on the upper arms, rough patches on the elbows and knees, dark marks from ingrown hairs and shaving on the legs, underarms and bikini line all respond to regular glycolic use.
Apply to a cotton pad and sweep over clean dry skin in the evening, two or three nights a week. Do not rinse. Follow with moisturiser. Avoid the eye area, broken skin and freshly shaved skin.
Do not use it on the same night as retinol or another exfoliating acid, and never use it in combination with a strong scrub.
Daily sunscreen is essential while using this, without exception. Genuine The Ordinary, stocked in Nairobi.
