This is the second half of a double cleanse: the water-based foam that follows an oil cleanser and takes care of sweat, dirt and anything left behind.

What makes it worth choosing over a standard foaming wash is the pH. Skin sits at around 5.5, and most foaming cleansers are far more alkaline, which is what causes the tight, stripped feeling and disrupts the barrier. This one is formulated low, so it foams properly and rinses clean while leaving the skin comfortable.

Heartleaf extract calms, and quercetinol helps with the oil and congestion that builds up in humid weather. Used morning and evening it keeps pores clear without pushing the skin into producing more oil in response.

It suits oily and combination skin best, and it is gentle enough to use twice a day. If your skin is very dry, use it in the evening only.

A small amount lathers a lot, so one tube lasts. Massage for thirty seconds, concentrating on the nose, chin and hairline where congestion collects, then rinse with lukewarm rather than hot water.
