Description
Sunscreen is oil-based, which is why a water-based face wash never fully removes it. Whatever is left sits in the pores overnight and turns into congestion. An oil cleanser is the fix, and this is the one we recommend.
It melts sunscreen, makeup and the days sebum on contact, then emulsifies with water and rinses away clean without the greasy film cheap oil cleansers leave behind. Heartleaf extract and salicylic acid make it more useful than a plain remover, actively loosening the plugs that become blackheads across the nose and chin.
Use it as the first step of an evening double cleanse. Apply to dry skin with dry hands, massage for a full minute over the nose and chin, add a little water to turn it milky, then rinse and follow with your normal cleanser.
That one extra minute is where most of the pore benefit comes from, so do not rush it. Over a few weeks the difference in texture around the nose is usually obvious.
It suits oily and combination skin especially well, and it is safe for daily use.
