Ten percent niacinamide reduces the look of pores, evens out tone and fades the dark marks left behind after breakouts. One percent zinc helps regulate oil production. Together they address the two things oily, blemish-prone skin complains about most.

On melanin-rich skin a healed spot leaves a dark patch that can linger for months, and it is those patches rather than the breakouts themselves that make skin look uneven. Apply a few drops morning and evening to clean skin, before your moisturiser. Note that the texture is slightly tacky, which is normal, and a little goes a long way.
