Description
Bitter Peach is not subtle and was never meant to be. It is one of the most distinctive things Tom Ford has released, and people either fall for it immediately or find it far too much.
The opening is an almost overripe peach, thick and syrupy, cut with blood orange and rum. Underneath there is cardamom and jasmine, and the base is sandalwood, patchouli, tonka and vanilla. Together it smells like fruit that has been sitting in liqueur.
It is unisex in the way most Tom Ford Private Blend fragrances are, which is to say the sweetness is genuinely wearable on anyone confident enough to carry it. It works best in the evening and in cooler weather. In full Nairobi midday sun the sweetness amplifies quickly, so one spray is a real application.
Longevity is excellent, often ten hours or more, and it leaves a trail. Do not apply it the way you would apply a fresh citrus fragrance.
If you want a bottle that people stop and ask about, this is it. Sealed and authentic, delivered anywhere in Kenya.
