Description
Nairobi air is drier than most people expect. Between the altitude, the wind on the plateau and air conditioning in offices and matatus, skin loses water through the day and you notice it most at night — a tightness across the cheeks, fine lines that look deeper than they did last year, a dullness that makeup sits badly on.
This is the cream for that. CeraVe built it around three essential ceramides, the lipids your skin barrier is actually made of, plus a peptide complex and hyaluronic acid to hold water in place while you sleep. The ceramides matter more than the marketing usually explains: when your barrier is depleted, everything else you apply works less well and irritates more easily. Repair that first and your serums start earning their keep.
The texture is genuinely rich but it absorbs rather than sitting on top, so it will not transfer onto your pillowcase. Apply it as the last step at night, after your serum, on slightly damp skin.
It suits dry and normal skin at any age, and combination skin during the cooler months. If you are oily and it feels heavy, use it two or three nights a week rather than nightly.
Fragrance-free, non-comedogenic, and developed with dermatologists. Genuine CeraVe, stocked in Nairobi and delivered across Kenya.
