Description
Cicaplast Baume is the tube most people end up keeping in their bag permanently. It is a thick, soothing balm designed to repair damaged and irritated skin, and its range of uses is genuinely wide.
It contains 5 percent panthenol, madecassoside, shea butter and a prebiotic complex, and it works on dry patches, flaking around the nose, chapped lips, cracked heels, razor irritation, eczema-prone areas, cuticles, and the tight sore skin that follows too much retinol or too much sun. It is safe for babies and children too.
It is not a daily face moisturiser for most people, being too rich for that, though it is excellent used as an overnight mask on dry or over-treated skin. Apply a thin layer to the affected area as often as needed.
It is also the right thing to reach for after a long weekend in the sun. Applied to hot, tight skin it calms things down considerably faster than a standard body lotion.
